Home Manager

Under supervision, this position is responsible to manage the day-to-day residential and day services operations of assigned component.  Provides on-going development and training to direct support staff members to ensure quality services are delivered. This is a full-time position with time allocated between administration and direct support and flexibility in scheduling to ensure proper coverage is maintained.

Supported Employment Specialist

We are seeking a Supported Employment Specialist. Your role will be to assist young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and your primary responsibilities will include job development, job placement, coaching, mentoring, and building community resources to help people achieve their employment goals.

Applicants should be highly motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under minimal supervision. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and previous experience is preferred.

Supported Employment Specialist

We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Day and Employment Services, two key responsibilities will be:-Assist and oversee the Day Service Coordinator in order to ensure the coordination and implementation of meaningful day services for the people supported.

Assist and oversee the Supported Employment component to ensure that employment opportunities available to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Applicants should be a self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision and possess good problem solving skills. An ideal candidate will have varied experience in working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Transit Operator

Vermillion Public Transit is currently looking for part-time Transit Operator(s) to assist with providing transportation services to Vermillion and the surrounding communities. This position offers flexible hours and a great work environment.

A South Dakota Class C Commercial Driver’s License with a Passenger Endorsement is required for the position.

. Applicants must pass a pre-employment screening process before hired.

A current CDL is preferred, but we will assist qualified applicants to acquire the license.
